Idea of the cycle

Returning to the body, feelings and vulnerability

The “Return to the Inner Child” cycle is an invitation into deeper contact with the parts within us that carry our vulnerability, our wounds and needs but also our vitality, aliveness and spontaneity.

Through bodywork, breathwork, meditation, psychoeducation and corrective experiences, we learn to hold our feelings with greater acceptance, strengthen inner resources and build a healthier contact with ourselves.

  • reconnecting with the body and feelings,
  • working with the Inner Child and vulnerable parts,
  • rebuilding grounding and a sense of safety,
  • strengthening vitality, spontaneity and authenticity,
  • working with boundaries, the Inner Critic and resources,
  • deepening the process through meditation and group work.

For whom

We especially recommend these workshops if…

This cycle is for people who want to work more deeply with emotions, the body, the Inner Child, grounding and the return to their own authenticity.

  • you are working with your Inner Child – a wounded, vulnerable or angry part,
  • you see the need for fuller grounding and containment of your feelings and emotions,
  • you need to find a way back to your vulnerability and authenticity,
  • you want to understand how and why you lost grounding and vitality.
  • you are looking for a way back to your sensuality and sexuality,
  • you are interested in meditation as a tool for deepening the emotional process,
  • you want to feel more connected with your body and breath,
  • you care about rebuilding healthy boundaries and reclaiming the fullness of life.

Parts of the cycle

Three stages of Inner Child work

Each part of the cycle touches on a different area of the process. You can treat them as successive stages of deepening the work, or choose the workshop that best corresponds to your current experience.

Part 1 – Returning to the body and feelings

Grounding and reconnecting with the Inner Child

This is a foundational workshop and a good starting point for people who would like to try this form of psychotherapeutic work. We invite you into a transformative journey that makes it possible to reconnect with the body, feelings and the Inner Child.

During the workshop, we look at the level of grounding and the way we relate to our own body and feelings. We use Inner Child work, bodywork, breath and meditation. Through corrective experiences, we aim to reach resources, rebuild vital strength and rediscover contact with vitality and spontaneity.

In safe conditions, we learn to experience the body as a place of our inner vulnerability and uniqueness. Contact with ourselves and caring for our own vulnerability help strengthen true power, stability and a healthier Adult part.

This workshop supports:

  • reconnecting with the body, feelings and the Inner Child,
  • rebuilding grounding and a sense of safety,
  • contact with vitality, spontaneity and resources,
  • distinguishing the child part – the Vulnerable and Magical Child – from the Adult part.

Part 2 – Healthy self-regulation

Balance between activity, relaxation, tension and letting go

This part is a continuation of the transformative journey of reconnecting with the body, feelings and the Inner Child. The workshop deepens the work on grounding and feeling strong and spacious enough to contain your emotions and embrace them with acceptance.

Through gentle bodywork, meditation and Inner Child work, we will experience a healthy balance between activity and the ability to relax and unwind. Life is a constant flow – a wave of tension and relaxation, movement and stillness, charging and discharging.

During the workshop, we look at how early experiences and conditioning may have influenced our ability to regulate emotions, our energy level, our ability to rest and relax, and our capacity to find balance / homeostasis.

This workshop supports:

  • experiencing healthy self-regulation as a flow of energy in the body,
  • understanding what may cause difficulties with self-regulation in your everyday life,
  • learning bodywork techniques that you can continue on your own after the workshop.

Part 3 – Overcoming Your Inner Critic

Working with toxic Superego voices and reclaiming your own strength

This workshop is devoted to recognising and quieting the toxic voices within us, which often carry messages from childhood. Their aim may be to keep us imprisoned in limiting beliefs, roles and defensive strategies.

The voices of the Critic do not allow us to express ourselves more fully, make it harder to pursue our goals, and take away joy and freedom of being. Through psychoeducation, meditation and bodywork, we strengthen self-awareness and the courage to resist Superego attacks and stand up for ourselves and our Inner Child.

We look at childhood history, defensive strategies and self-sabotaging manoeuvres that may have developed in response to wounds. Group work, intimacy and safety become a resource for facing the inner Goliath.

Themes of work:

  • what the Superego is and how to recognise its functional and toxic parts,
  • how the inner critical part was formed and what “comfort zone” it wants to keep us in,
  • what roles, images and limiting beliefs the Critic maintains,
  • how bodywork and meditation help us free ourselves from the toxic Superego,
  • how to build a Healthy Adult who stands up for us and supports the realisation of our potential.

Form of work

How do we work during the cycle?

The workshops combine psychotherapeutic work, psychoeducation, meditation, bodywork, breathwork, corrective experiences and sharing in the group.

Body and breath

We work with grounding, breath and body awareness in order to experience emotions more safely and regain contact with ourselves.

Inner Child

We meet vulnerable, wounded, angry and magical parts, learning to hold them with greater acceptance and care.

Group

The safe space of the group supports mirroring, corrective experiences, trust and the feeling that we are not alone.
